You will be building LucidLink’sg end-to-end enterprise data warehouse (EDW) solutions that will help all of ourcustomers as well as all internal departments by revealing key business and operational insights. You’ll have the opportunity to architect and implement a modern scalable and extensible EDW from the ground up, collaborating with world-class software engineers.
You must have a solid fundamental knowledge in data warehousing and data engineering.
Your skills and qualifications:
5+ years of experience in a data warehousing, data engineering, or data architect role.
5+ years of experience in developing, managing, and maintaining large, multi-terabyte data warehouses.
Extensively familiar with ETL (Extraction, Transformation & Load), data warehousing, and business intelligence tools.
Expert level SQL skills. Experience in SQL server database administration.
Have a deep passion for data analytics technologies as well as analytical and dimensional modeling.
Have the skill to draft, analyze, and debug SQL queries and also be proficient in a scripting language, for example, Bash, Python for the purpose of building scalable EDW.
Experience building EDW in a cloud environment (e.g. AWS).
Experience using the git source control system.
Fluent in English, both spoken and written to efficiently communicate company wide with teams across the globe.
Build an extensible, scalable enterprise data warehouse from scratch.
Analyze and simplify complex business requirements for reporting and analysis and subsequently translate them into good technical data designs.
Design and develop systems for the maintenance of the business’s data warehouse, ETL processes, and business intelligence.
Define and promote the best practices and design principles for data warehousing techniques and architecture.
Take technological decisions for the business’s future data, analysis, and reporting needs.
Guide the business in identifying any new data needs and deliver mechanisms for acquiring and reporting such information as well as addressing the actual needs.
