Referral Rewards Summary by Advocate and Friend User Role

We want you to spread the word about LucidLink! Our Referral Program (the “Program”) allows customers to refer friends to LucidLink and receive a reward when their friend becomes a paying customer, and the friend may also receive a reward as well! 

Advocate user role: Workspace Owner

  • Friend Starter workspace - advocate reward $25 invoice credit, friend reward $25 invoice credit

  • Friend Business or Enterprise workspace - advocate reward $100 invoice credit, friend reward $100 invoice credit

By accepting and sharing your referral link or code or by signing up or using a referral link or code, you agree to be bound by these Referral Program Terms (“Referral Terms”), as well as LucidLink’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. In these Referral Terms, we refer to LucidLink as “us,” “we,” or “LucidLink.”  Users who refer are called “You” or “Advocates” and individuals who receive a referral are called “Friends.”  The discount you or your Friends receive is called a “Referral Reward.”

1. Purpose of the LucidLink Referral Program

We want you to spread the word about LucidLink! For more information on how to do this correctly, please check out the section below: How to Promote LucidLink Transparently and Fairly.  

2. Advocate Eligibility

To be eligible for the Program as an Advocate, you must:

  • Be participating for your own benefit or that of your company as a LucidLink customer, and not for a third party that is not associated with you, your company, or would not otherwise be considered eligible based on our Terms of Service

  • Be at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority where you reside 

  • Be a registered LucidLink user 

  • Not be a professional affiliate marketer

3. Friend Eligibility

To be eligible to be referred, a Friend must: 

  • Be an individual or company that is eligible to use LucidLink based on our Terms of Service

  • Be at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority where you reside

4. How to Refer Friends and Get Referral Rewards

Here’s how you can refer Friends and earn Referral Rewards:

  • Use the LucidLink referral link provided in communications from us, from the referral widget in your account, or from other means we provide to you. This referral link is specific to you and only you (your “Referral Link”).  

  • You can then share your Referral Link with your family, friends, and anyone else you know that wants to experience our platform.   

  • For each eligible Friend that: (i) clicks on your Referral Link, (ii) logs in or signs up for an LucidLink account using your Referral Link and (iii) becomes a paying customer of LucidLink within 90 days of clicking the Referral Link (unless otherwise stated on the offer), you’ll receive a Referral Reward. They will also receive a Referral Reward to spend on LucidLink if a reward is being provided in the program at the time.

  • Unless stated otherwise in the referral offer, Referral Rewards will expire 90 days from the date your Friend activates the referral offer by using your Referral Link. 

  • You will know if you received a Referral Reward by checking your LucidLink account or through communications from us.

5. Qualifying Events

A Qualifying Event must meet any criteria communicated in the referral invitation and accompanying materials, comply with LucidLink’s Terms of Service and take place in the United States and other eligible regions. A Qualifying Event must also be processed by LucidLink’s Payment Processor (i.e., not redirected to PayPal or a third-party payment processor for payment). 

6. Program Limitations

  • You will receive one Referral Reward per qualified referral. You can share the link as many times as you want, but you are limited to a maximum of 10 successful referrals in the Program. 

  • Only one Referral Reward may be redeemed at a time on LucidLink.

  • A Friend may only be referred once as part of the Program.

  • If a Friend receives multiple Referral Links, the Referral Link they click last will receive the Referral Reward, if all other Program conditions are met.

  • You can’t refer yourself, another company you own, and you can’t use or generate additional email addresses to get Referral Rewards.

  • Registration for free events or products on LucidLink does not entitle you or Friends to Referral Rewards.

  • LucidLink is not responsible for misplaced Referral Links.

7. Sharing Referral Links

Only share Referral Links with people that you know. Referral Links must be used for personal and non-commercial purposes. You agree that you will not:

  • Publish or distribute Referral Links on commercial websites (such as coupon websites, Reddit, or Wikipedia);

  • “Spam” anyone with Referral Links. This includes mass emailing, texting, or messaging people you do not know, or using automated systems, bots, scripts or programmed dialers to distribute your Referral Link through any channel. You cannot pay anyone to advertise your Referral Link; or

  • Use your Referral Link in any way that violates the law or the rights of anyone else.  

Sharing Referral Links via text message is prohibited in Washington state.

8. How to Promote LucidLink Transparently and Fairly

Don’t ever lie or misrepresent the truth about LucidLink, your experience, Referral Links, or anything else when sharing a Referral Link.  

If you write anything about LucidLink, you should make it clear that you’re getting a benefit from us.  For instance, if you share your LucidLink Link in a blog post, near the link you must say, “I receive Referral Rewards when people use my Referral Link and purchase a subscription on LucidLink.” 

If we learn that you have violated anything in this Section 6, you may be immediately suspended from the Program, and you may lose all rights to any Referral Rewards whether based on prior or future activity.

9. Additional Terms, Conditions, Exclusions & Restrictions

The Program is void where prohibited by law.

Your participation in the Program is subject to your compliance with these Referral Terms, our Terms of Service, any additional policies or requirements posted by LucidLink during or after the Program, and all applicable laws and regulations. 

Every qualified referral is subject to independent verification by LucidLink and LucidLink’s representatives.  LucidLink has sole discretion in setting the amount of the Referral Rewards, and the amount can change at any time.  All decisions regarding Referral Rewards, qualified referrals, or your participation in the Program will be final and at our sole discretion.  

Referral Rewards you receive and your account under the Program are personal to you and may not be sold, transferred or assigned to, or shared with, family, friends, or anyone else (unless otherwise approved by LucidLink in writing).

10. Termination and Changes to the Program

We may modify, suspend, or terminate the Program or your ability to participate in it at any time and for any reason.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate you from the Program, or deduct Referral Rewards from your account, if we notice any activity that we believe is abusive, fraudulent, or in violation of these Referral Terms or LucidLink’s Terms of Service, including: 

  • Incomplete or untruthful registration;

  • Attempts to obtain qualified referrals through fake email accounts;

  • Multiple attempts to register by the same person under different names or different email addresses;

  • Advertising or distributing the Referral Link or otherwise promoting LucidLink in any way that we find objectionable or inappropriate (in our own sole discretion) or that violates these Terms;

  • Circumvention of the spirit of the Program or these Referral Terms or

  • Violation of the law.

We reserve the right to review and investigate all referral activities and to suspend accounts or modify referrals in our sole discretion as deemed fair and appropriate.  You will provide us with information reasonably necessary to verify compliance with these Referral Terms. 

11. Updates to these Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Referral Terms at any time in our sole discretion. If we amend these Referral Terms, we will post the updated version on the LucidLink.com website or notify you as required by law.  Continued participation in the Program after any modification will constitute consent to such modification.

12. Miscellaneous

These Referral Program Terms, as supplemented by the LucidLink Terms of Service, constitute the entire agreement and understanding between you and LucidLink with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersede all other communications, whether oral or written, between the parties with respect to such subject matter. 

You may not assign these Referral Terms without LucidLink’s prior written consent.  

Subject to the foregoing restriction, these Referral Terms will be binding on, inure to, and be enforceable against the parties and their respective successors and assigns.  

LucidLink’s failure to enforce your strict performance of any provision of these Referral Terms will not constitute a waiver of LucidLink’s right to enforce such provision or any other provision of these Terms.
